WORLD OIL MARKET: CURRENT STATE AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article considers the state of the world oil market at the present stage andassessed the prospects for its furtherdevelopment. A complex system of statistical indicators of the world oil market was proposed on the basis of generalizationof international experience and taking intoaccount the Russian statistical practice. Amultidimensional classification of the main oil-producing countries was done in orderto identify homogeneous groups and determine the place of Russia in this market.Obtained projections for key indicators ofthe world oil market in the medium term.
