Статья посвящена совершенствованию системыстатистическихпоказателейуровня развития и доступности для населения информационно-коммуникационных технологий. Выделеныиобобщеныосновные целевые индикаторы построения информационного общества, содержащиеся в стратегических документах Российской Федерации и международных организаций. Проведен сравнительный анализ рейтинговых показателей развития ИКТ по отдельным странам. Сформулированы основные подходы к актуализации показателей, входящих в действующие формы федерального статистического наблюдения.

The article is concerned with the improvement of the statistical indicators system of the development level and the availability for the population of information and communication technologies. The main target indicators of information society building contained in the strategic documents of the Russian Federation and international organizations are identified and summarized. A comparative analysis of the individual countries’ ICT indicators was carried out. The basic approaches to actualization of the indicators included in the existing forms of federal statistical observation were formulated.
