В данной работе подчёркивается актуальность использования информационно-компьютерных технологий при формировании коммуникативной компетенции на иностранном языке в вузе. Кроме того, в качестве методологической основы информационно-обучающей среды анализируются принципы социального конструктивизма. Описывается обучающая оболочка Moodle, которая благодаря своим возможностям отвечает в полной мере требованиям учебного процесса и виртуальной образовательной среды, а также является наиболее оптимальной на сегодняшний день системой дистанционного обучения в целом и иностранным языкам, в частности.

In this work timeliness of use of information and computer technologies is emphasized when forming communicative competence in a foreign language in higher education institution. Besides, as a methodological basis of the information training environment the principles of social constructivism are analyzed. The training Moodle shell program entirely meets requirements of educational process and the virtual educational environment as well, and it is also the most sensible modern system of distance learning as a whole and to foreign languages in particular.
