Идентификация вклада факторов в ценовую динамику является сложной задачей, однако, в настоящее время учеными и аналитиками из сферы макроэкономики предложены некоторые способы ее решения. Существующие эконометрические методы нередко дают результаты, не согласовывающиеся с представлениями аналитиков конкретного рынка. В данной статье авторы проводят апробацию данных методик для анализа динамики цен на каменный уголь на внутреннем российском рынке.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. В работе используется метод определения вклада факторов в динамику цен на основе теоретической модели совокупного спроса и совокупного предложения и статистического подхода к идентификации шоков через остатки моделей векторных авторегрессий. В качестве источников статистических данных об уровне цен используются данные Росстата, в качестве источника прокси-данных об уровне потребления и о вкладах субъектов федерации используются данные открытого акционерного общества «Российские железные дороги». Расчеты проводились с помощью языка программирования R, с использованием среды разработки RStudio. </p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Расчеты показывают, что изменение цен в сторону повышения чаще было связано с положительными шоками спроса, однако, встречаются периоды, где больший вклад в рост цены вносили факторы предложения. Так на протяжении нескольких месяцев в начале 2020 года цены росли, в большей степени, из-за вклада факторов предложения, а в начале 2022 года из-за вклада факторов спроса. На протяжении 2021 года, когда цены на некоторых рынках выросли в два и более раза, на российский рынок оказывали влияния как положительные шоки спроса, так и отрицательные шоки предложения.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Результаты, полученные по итогам расчетов, не являются однозначными, однако, они не противоречат общеэкономической логике и сочетаются с априорными представлениями о воздействии факторов спроса и предложения на внутренний рынок каменного угля. Кроме того, если учитывать компактность данного подхода с точки зрения проводимых расчетов и необходимых данных, можно говорить о возможности применения данного подхода к анализу рынка на постоянной основе.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The purpose of the study. Identifying the contribution of factors to price dynamics is a difficult issue, however, at present, scientists and analysts from the field of macroeconomics have proposed some ways to solve it. Existing econometric methods often show results that are inconsistent with the views of analysts of a particular market. In this article, the authors test these techniques to analyze the dynamics of prices for coal in the domestic Russian market.Materials and methods. In this paper, we used the method for determining the contribution of factors to price dynamics based on a theoretical model of aggregate demand and aggregate supply and a statistical approach to identifying shocks through the residuals of vector autoregression models. We use Rosstat data as a source of statistical data on the price level and JSC “Russian Railways” data as a proxy data source on the level of consumption and the contribution of Russian regions. The calculation was performed by using the R programming language, using the RStudio development environment.Results. The calculations show that upward price changes were more often associated with positive demand shocks; however, there are periods where supply factors contributed more to price growth. Therefore, for a few months in early 2020, prices rose largely due to the contribution of supply factors, and in early 2022 due to the contribution of demand factors. During 2021, when prices in some markets increased by two or more times, both positive demand shocks and negative supply shocks affected the Russian market.Conclusion. The results obtained from the calculations are mixed; however, they do not contradict general economic logic and are combined with a prior view about the impact of supply and demand factors on the domestic coal market.
