В статье рассматриваются теоретико-методологические положения теории устойчивого развития. На основе анализа понятийного аппарата предлагается авторское определение устойчивого развития региона. Обзор методов оценки устойчивости развития позволил провести их группировку. На основе проведенного исследования представлен авторский подход к оценке устойчивости с использованием коэффициентов эластичности.

The article considers theoretical and methodological provisions of the theory of a sustainable development. On the basis of the analysis of a conceptual framework there is offered an author’s definition of a sustainable development of the region. The review of methods of an assessment of stability of development allowed to carry out their group. On the basis of the conducted research author’s approach to a stability assessment with use of coefficients of elasticity is presented.
