В статье раскрыты основные проблемы постколониальной модернизации стран субсахарского региона. Рыночно ориентированные подходы к развитию экономических систем реализуются в регионе в форме так называемых программ структурной адаптации. В целом подключение экономики африканского типа к рыночным регуляторам - процесс многогранный и требует крутой, болезненной ломки традиционных социальных структур.

The article covers the main problems of the post-colonial modernization of countries of sub-Saharan region. Market-oriented approaches to the development of economic systems are being implemented in the region in the form of structural adaptation plans. In general, the connection of the African economy to the market regulators is a complex process which requires a sharp, painful break-up of traditional social structures.
